Watermelon Fresh Fruit Slush Bubble Tea

An almost freakishly hot afternoon, a voucher from a long time ago, and the fact that it was National Watermelon Day resulted in my much-needed cup of Watermelon Fresh Fruit Slush Bubble Tea. I asked for half the sugar and the traditional pearls, of course. The frozen watermelon blended with ice was very refreshing indeed, not too sweet but perfectly cold and soothing. I love the coolness of the watermelon aroma. The light pink colour emphasized the refreshing taste. The tapioca pearls were the sweet part of this beverage. They were chewy yet still soft, and the texture was thus perfectly bouncy. The sweetness level was also good without being overwhelming. Such a perfect way to end National Watermelon Day!
