Totally Tuna Sub Sandwich
Vegetarian Sub Sandwich
~
Oh, those lovely club meetings – they really save everyone from the headache of getting dinner. Catering by Jimmy John’s? Yes, please!
The Totally Tuna Sub Sandwich was nothing special by any standards. It was just a tuna salad with lettuce, cucumbers, and tomatoes, in a long roll. The bread was fresh, though. The celery and onion in the tuna salad were also an interesting mix and added a nice crunch. However, the sandwich was not exactly memorable.
The Vegetarian Sandwich was actually quite good. There was a lot of cheese and the avocado spread in between the slices were lovely. The lettuce, cucumbers, and tomatoes were refreshing and the mayonnaise added a nice creaminess, making part of the roll slightly soggy but flavourful.
Indeed, I would never go to Jimmy John’s myself because I do not like cold-cut sandwiches, especially with cold vegetables and processed meat. What I will accept is a convenient and free dinner that is, although not spectacular, still decent and filling.
