Pumpkin Cream Cheese Muffin

I was craving something sweet so I stepped into Starbucks and got their new, seasonal, limited-time Pumpkin Cream Cheese Muffin. It was absolutely scrumptious! The best part was the food so closely related to this City of Brotherly Love – cream cheese –  which came in a huge dollop in the centre. It was so creamy, rich, and yet not overly sweet – the perfect blend of sweet and cheesy. Half of the top was covered with pumpkin seeds in a cinnamon and brown sugar crumble mixture. I loved this part, both because of the crunch and the sweet, spiced brown sugar. The rest of the muffin was nicely spiced with pumpkin flavours; it was certainly very distinctly pumpkin. It was sweet but not so much that the pumpkin got lost. The muffin was very moist, soft, and dense; it tasted quite fresh and was definitely one of the best muffins I have ever had.
