Dunkin’ Donuts, Philadelphia PA
Vanilla Kreme Donut
French Cruller Donut
Blueberry Cake Donut
I figured that one more day of desserts from Dunkin’ Donuts would not hurt. I love sweet food and can never seem to get enough. Part of it always ends up as breakfast, though.
The Vanilla Kreme Donut was decent but a little boring. The dusting sugar kept on getting onto everything. The yeast doughnut was also slightly dry but the vanilla cream inside was very good and sweet.
The French Cruller Donut did not taste very fresh so it had probably been sitting outside all day long. It was decently sweet but a little dry. There was nothing special about it.
The Blueberry Muffin did not taste much different from the reduced fat one. It could be sweeter but he texture was good and it was dense and moist. I would have like juicier blueberries though.
The Blueberry Cake Donut has even less whole blueberries. However, the cake-based doughnut was very sweet with the sugar glaze so I did enjoy it. It had artificial blueberry flavor but I do not mind it. Rather, it was reasonably pleasant.
In the future, I would definitely go to Dunkin’ Donuts during the day, just so the doughnuts are fresher. I do not like stale or dry doughnuts; they do not melt in your mouth as easily.
