Chili Chicken

It took a while to get lunch for Dad and I, since the line was quite long at rush hour. However, the piping hot, fresh-out-of-the-wok Chili Chicken was well worth it. The fried chicken was crispy but had too much batter and not enough meat. However, the sauce, which is probably the same as the one used for General Tso’s Chicken, was sweet and sour but not at all too overwhelming. The vegetables were refreshing and there was enough sauce to go with the aromatic steamed white rice. The chili flavour was not distinct and I did not taste much spice. It would be nice to add more of a kick, but it was still good.
