Starbucks was once again offering the Buy One Share One promotion so, naturally, I stopped by just in time to grab two cups of coffee and a late afternoon treat.

Again, to celebrate National Egg Nog Month, I finally tried their Egg Nog Latte. It was rather, disappointing, however, as I could barely taste the eggnog. It was more like a regular latte, with perhaps the slightest hint of something richer and creamier than steamed milk. It was very smooth, though, so at least it was a good latte.Image

The Skinny Peppermint Mocha became one of my holiday favourites ever since I tried it last year. The ‘skinny’ part is very appealing. The minty chocolate flavour is also very pleasant mixed with espresso – so refreshing yet rich and sweet at the same time.Image

To munch on, I got a Butter Croissant. I asked for it to be toasted and it came out hot and extremely flaky. So buttery and rich, it was slightly crispy on the outside, as much as a thin layer of pastry can get crispy anyways. The inside was soft and easily torn into flaky shreds. Every bite was simply wonderful.
