Naniwa-ya Ramen, Honolulu HI
Apart from the ramen, Dad also got a Pork Yakisoba from Naniwa-ya Ramen. To be honest, it looked a lot better than it tasted, though it was not bad. The noodles were cooked to a nice texture, still slightly chewy. However, the flavour was not hearty or deep. It was all just lightly coated in soy sauce. The vegetables were good but there was not enough for my liking. It was also lacking pork. The one thing it did not lack was oil – there was just a little too much. It was a good portion for around $10 and very decent for a food court. However, I have definitely had ones way better in casual restaurants. Looks can be deceiving, so unless you are seriously craving some stir-fry noodles, stick with the ramen.
