Pistachio French Macaron

It’s National Pistachio Day! These little green nuts have always been perplexing for me since I was a little girl. Hidden inside their shell and super hard to crack open sometimes, it’s nice to find a crunchy, slightly sweet, and nutty gem. They are my favorite plain nuts to snack on.
To celebrate, Sugar Philly offered their Pistachio French Macaron. The green was pale and not too artificial. It actually imitated the nut itself. The shell was a little hard and not as delicate but the inside was still moist and slightly chewy. The pistachio filling was sweet, nutty, and absolutely delicious. It had a slightly rough texture to reflect the nuts. I absolutely adored this little green bite of joy.
